Job Description: Sales Associate  
The Source Zero, Berthoud, CO - Part Time - Weekends (Friday - Sunday)

Part-time (Sunday - weekends, during week 1 day 10-15 hrs) 

Pay rate depending on experience: $15 - 19/hr

Are you looking for experience in the industry of sustainability, or have you already chosen a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle?  Then this part-time position available at a zero-waste boutique is for you!   In our retail store, we sell alternatives to plastics for your daily living, as well as service a soap refill station.  

The Event/Sales Associate position is a part-time position in a zero-waste retail store located in Berthoud, CO, or located at events in Northern Colorado.  Responsibilities include providing a safe, positive, full-service shopping experience, overseeing store operations, providing superb customer service, and educating customers about products.  Qualities we are looking for in a sales associate are someone who is self-motivated to hit daily sales goals, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about zero waste.  Other tasks include opening/closing the store, dusting, cleaning, restocking shelves, and assisting customers in refilling their bottles and jars.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞:
-Passionate about Zero Waste, or a strong interest to learn and living the lifestyle.
-Familiar with some of the products we carry in store
-Previous customer service and retail experience
-Adaptable, self-motivated, and strong communicator
-Ability to learn Apps used in the store promptly
-Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Great customer service and must like people

-Must be available 1 day on the weekend, and available to pick up others' shifts
-Ability to lift 50 lbs.
-Never bring in plastic bags, cutlery, or plastic throw-away drinks
