About the Role
This role is for experienced appointment setters who want more than just booking calls and are looking for a clear path to higher earnings and advancement. At Malabute & Company CPAs, you’ll be working in a fast-growing accounting and tax firm with defined performance standards, daily accountability, and a structured promotion path into a closer role in as little as two weeks. This is a commission-only, results-driven position where top performers are rewarded with $100 per qualified show, bonus opportunities, and commission on collected sales once promoted. Training on our offer, scripts, qualification standards, and systems will be provided to ensure you understand our process and expectations. If you’re comfortable with outbound calls, multi-channel follow-ups, and being held to measurable activity and production standards, this role offers a legitimate opportunity to scale your income and grow into a long-term sales role rather than staying stuck as a setter.

Role Overview (Non-Negotiable Expectations)
This is a high-activity outbound role. Performance is tracked daily. Failure to meet minimum activity or production requirements will result in removal from the role. This position is not hourly or salaried and is not a fit for candidates who are uncomfortable with clear benchmarks or performance-based accountability.
Daily Activity Requirements (Tracked)
Minimum of 100 outbound dials per business day is required. Outbound outreach is primarily phone-based and supported by follow-ups via text message, email, and social media. Activity is tracked and reviewed daily, and consistency is required from day one.
Production Expectations (Day-One Standard)
Set an average of 1–2 qualified appointments per day with a minimum 70% show rate on booked appointments. All appointments must meet the firm’s qualified show criteria. Failure to meet both activity and production benchmarks during the evaluation period will result in removal from the role.
Compensation Structure
$100 per qualified show paid per completed, qualified call. Weekly performance bonuses are available for hitting volume benchmarks. High performers are eligible for promotion into a closer role typically within approximately two weeks, where compensation includes commission on collected sales. Top performers can realistically earn six figures annually.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of one year of appointment setting or sales experience is required. Candidates must be comfortable with high-volume outbound calling, consistent follow-ups, and being held accountable to daily activity metrics. Strong communication skills, reliability, coachability, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
