We are seeking a dedicated and responsible After-School Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a caring attitude, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students in a structured and positive environment. This role requires assisting students with homework, supervising activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage students in an after-school classroom setting.
• Assist students with homework and provide academic and behavioral support.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate enrichment activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Pick up students from designated schools using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure program goals are met.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Must be comfortable using a personal vehicle for student transportation (gas mileage reimbursed).
• Must be available Monday–Friday from school dismissal until 6:00 PM.

• Studying Child Development or Majoring in a specific subject (English, Math, STEM, etc.)

Additional Requirements:

• Must complete the Mandated Reporter Training Certification (Child Care Provider version).
• Must hold a current CPR/First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain prior to start).
• Must provide proof of the following immunizations and health clearances:
• TDap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• TB test clearance
• Must complete fingerprint and background clearance prior to employment.

Compensation:
Commensurate with experience. Mileage reimbursement provided for student transportation.
