Essential Functions

Position is ACTIVE with lifting, pushing/pulling, or carrying 75 - 100% of the time of 75 – 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position requires the use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Position is primarily preformed in NON-CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing DAS wireless equipment using any combination of external and internal antennas, coaxial cable, CATV cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable and other appropriate components to NEC standard at customer job sites.
• Mounting rack, wall, and ceiling electronic DAS components.
• Connectorize 50-ohm RF cable and test.
• Troubleshoot new and existing DAS systems.
• RF Coverage testing and optimization, pre- and post-construction.
• RF and Cabling Site surveys.
• Background and skillset for wiring DC power plants and low voltage circuits.
• Complete job-related documentation and record-keeping of the installation.
• Keep the customer and company informed of progress of installation.
• Install of fixed network equipment including low-voltage hardware equipment.
• Design and fabricate all special hardware required for custom installs.
• Maintain adequate stock and supplies in service vehicles to accomplish field installations in a productive manner.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and clean company vehicle.

Pay Overview

Pay is based on experience and overall qualifications. Pay is $20 – $28 an hour.

Per Diem Pay for overnight/out of town travel (less than 10% of work days).

Hours of operation overview

· 7 am to 4 pm

· Monday through Friday

Required/Preferred Skill Set

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Hand tool knowledge

· Clear MVR for 7 years

· Drivers’ license for the state of residency.

· ETA - Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)

· R56

· OSHA 10

· First Aid/CPR
