Position Overview

Fire Escape Services Network is seeking a motivated college student or recent graduate to join our team as a Fire Escape Inspector Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in fire safety compliance while building a professional resume.

About the Role

You'll work alongside our experienced inspectors to:

Conduct fire escape inspections and identify structural, paint, and code-related issues

Assist in developing comprehensive inspection reports

Learn industry standards and best practices in fire escape safety

Understand our internal procedures and workflows for post-inspection documentation

Ideal Candidates

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from programs in:

Civil/Structural Engineering

Architecture

Project Management

Related technical fields

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Interest in building codes and fire safety compliance

Bonus Skills

If your curriculum includes CAD, drafting, or architectural drawing, you'll have complementary opportunities to learn our fire escape drawing and design processes, including permit preparation and draft materials creation.
