NEW YORK, NY — A warm and welcoming family based on the Upper East Side during the school year, and in the Hamptons over the summer, is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY to join their team and become an extension of their family!

The position primarily runs Monday through Friday, from 1 PM – 8 PM or 2 PM – 8 PM, though they can be flexible and are open to exploring a schedule that may include Fridays through Mondays during the summer when the children are in camp Monday through Friday but most in need of weekend support. Compensation is open and commensurate with experience.

Their two children- a 9-year-old girl in 3rd grade and a 7-year-old boy in 2nd grade- are super sweet and full of personality. Their daughter is bubbly, artsy, loves dance, her friends, and makes everyone feel like her best friend, while their son is very into hockey and all sports, can initially be a little shy, and takes a little time to warm up but is incredibly sweet. Both thrive with a nanny who is fun, engaging, hands-on, and creative, while also being supportive with homework, stimulating conversation, and meaningful play. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and organized; a true self-starter with a can-do attitude who can seamlessly balance both nanny and household management responsibilities. Duties include planning playdates and excursions, wrangling the children to and from activities, preparing simple dinners, keeping the household calendar, helping with errands, maintaining inventory, and even coming up with menu options. Flexibility is key, as the family values someone who is willing to stay later as needed, manage shifting schedules, and jump in wherever they are needed most.
