Experience

  • Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's or dementia care, or autism is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and patient care practices is essential.
  • Experience using Electronic/Web base systems for documentation and caseload management enhances your ability to deliver seamless support.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in hospice care or social work are advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and the use of mobility aids; comfort with long periods of standing or walking.
