Marketing & Sales Assistant for Innovative Water Filtration Startup

Location: Remote (Seattle/PNW preferred for occasional in-person collaboration)

Type: Part-time (10–20 hours/week), with clear path to full-time, This is a W2 Position

Compensation: $25/hr. plus $100/Commission (renegotiated as we scale)

Role Overview

Join as our first dedicated team member to drive marketing, lead generation, and sales support. This is a high-impact, ground-floor opportunity in a cleantech startup with real ownership and advancement potential (including future management responsibilities). This will scale beyond your position. How fast is up to us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach to professionals (plumbers, well drillers, real estate agents) and run performance marketing (Facebook/Nextdoor ads, email campaigns)
  • Manage leads, schedule consultations, track referral incentives, and support client follow-up
  • Create content (brochures, testimonials, one-pagers) and maintain basic CRM/ops tracking
  • Collaborate on strategy to scale distribution across the Pacific Northwest+

Qualifications (Flexible – I Value Potential)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace, Canva, social media platforms; quick learner for others)
  • Organized, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
  • Interest in sustainability, water quality, or health/tech innovation
  • Preferred: 1+ years marketing/sales support experience or relevant education; PNW/Seattle-area connections

This role offers meaningful work in a growing niche of the water technology space that is new to the US after 16 years vetting in Canada.
