Project-Based | Remote | $3,000–$5,000 Stipend
I’m a Seattle-based founder and public figure developing a commercially positioned memoir (90% autobiography, 10% narrative storytelling).
This is not a typical ghostwriting job.
I am looking for a collaborative writer who can:
• Conduct structured interviews
• Organize life events into compelling narrative arcs
• Capture and refine my voice (not replace it)
• Work within strong editorial direction
• Think commercially (bestseller potential, not diary writing)
You must be comfortable writing in someone else’s voice and taking detailed creative direction. Control of the narrative will remain with me — I am looking for a sharp partner who can execute, refine, and elevate.
Ideal Candidate:
• Studying Journalism, creative writing, or memoir writing
• Has read commercially successful memoirs
• Comfortable with complex themes (identity, power structures, spiritual reinvention)
• Ego-secure and highly collaborative
• Interested in building a high-level portfolio project
Deliverables:
• Chapter outlines
• Interview transcripts
• Draft development
• Structural revisions
Compensation:
$3,000–$5,000 project stipend depending on experience and scope.
Opportunity for bonus if project moves toward publication.
