Job Title: Studio Artist + Sales Associate (Permanent Jewelry + Design)

Location: Seaport Boston Studio

Hiring: 1 Part-Time Associate | 22–28 hours/week | $20/hourWeekend availability required. Additional hours may be available based on studio needs.

About the Role: We’re looking for an artistically minded, design-forward human to join our Legacy Place studio.

This is not traditional welding. It’s precision jewelry work inside a creative retail environment.

You’ll be trained in our signature Forever Jewelry process and become an integral part of the in-studio experience—helping clients choose meaningful pieces, customizing their jewelry, and creating beautiful, lasting moments.

This role blends jewelry artistry, styling, sales, and content creation. If you love working with your hands, care about aesthetics, and feel energized by connecting with people, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do:

Create + Craft

• Perform our signature permanent jewelry process with care and precision (we train you)
• Work with delicate chains and fine materials in a detail-oriented environment
• Support small-batch production, quality control, and custom orders

Style + Sell

• Guide customers through chain selection, fit, and design decisions
• Tell the story behind our pieces and help clients find meaning in what they choose
• Drive sales through genuine connection, not pressure

Studio Experience

• Own the full customer journey from arrival to checkout
• Manage appointment flow and wait times
• Learn about our int-store brands
• Maintain deep product knowledge across our collections, from 14k gold to gold fill, sterling, and fashion pieces
• Understand and clearly communicate differences in materials, pricing, durability, and care (metals, stones, finishes, longevity)
• Educate clients so they feel confident in their purchase decisions
• Maintain merchandising standards and studio cleanliness
• Restock jewelry, track supplies, and ensure accurate inventory handling

Create Content

• Capture in-studio moments for Instagram Stories
• Shoot 5–10 photos weekly (product, styling, atmosphere)
• Support in-store events and influencer visits

You Are:

• Creatively inclined (art, jewelry, design, styling, fashion, photography, something hands-on)
• Naturally aesthetic and detail-obsessed
• Comfortable working with tiny components and fine materials
• Warm, confident, and energized by a sales environment
• A strong communicator who can tell a story
• Tech-friendly and social-media fluent
• Reliable, organized, and collaborative

Jewelry, metalsmithing, or art school experience is a plus, but not required. We train for technical skill. We hire for taste, energy, and presence.
