Youth Peer Mentors work collaboratively with the New Horizons Program Administrator, Case Managers, fellow Youth Peer Mentors, and Frederick County Public School staff to provide student-supports and strengthen the New Horizons Summer Academy community. Support includes promoting student engagement and overall well being, managing the on-site basic material needs program, and hosting weekly Academy Opportunities during academic break times.
