Accounts Receivable Customer Service Representative Duties:
- Answer & Address Calls from Customers (Answer Questions, Schedule Appointments, etc)

- Review & Edit Invoices for Service Department

- Analyze and reconcile customer accounts
- Process and post incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers
- Assist with Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate collections efforts
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and reconciling accounts

Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze customer accounts and identify discrepancies
- Proficiency in accounts receivable processes, including data entry, invoicing, and payment processing
- Solid math skills to accurately calculate balances, interest, and late fees
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collections efforts
- Knowledge of technical accounting principles related to accounts receivable
- Ability to negotiate payment terms with customers to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
- Phone etiquette to provide professional customer service during phone interactions
