Connected by Music (------------/), a Boulder-based nonprofit that helps musicians connect to causes they care about, is seeking a part-time intern to help with various administrative, creative, and communication tasks. As a nascent organization run by one unpaid director, the needed tasks will vary. We are seeking a self-starter who can work broadly within guidelines and needs, without requiring significant oversight. This internship is intended for someone who wishes to gain experience in supporting music and musicians.

Tasks might include, but not be limited to: drafting newsletters, posting flyers, boosting social media posts, entering financial transactions to spreadsheets, and others as needed. About 40 hours per month, as a contractor. Salary commensurate with experience. This is intended to be an entry-level position for someone interested in the music business and the local music scene, but we will consider applications from more experienced persons who are interested in a part-time position.

You will work on your own computer in your location, and communicate primarily through phone and video meetings.
