Connected by Music (------------/), a Boulder-based nonprofit that helps musicians connect to causes they care about, is seeking a part-time (about 10 hours/wk) intern to help with various administrative, creative, and communication tasks. 

We are seeking a self-starter who can work broadly within guidelines and needs, without requiring significant oversight. This internship is intended for someone interested in social causes, activism, and music. 

Our goals for the next year include growing our network and creating new connections, so s a nascent organization run by one unpaid director, the needed tasks will vary and may well be driven by the intern's own creativity and ideas. Tasks might include, but not be limited to: drafting and sending newsletters, helping organize and promote benefit shows, creating and managing social media, networking, entering financial transactions to spreadsheets, or even video and website editing (with training). Our budget at this time can support about 40 hours per month, as a contractor. Hourly compensation will be negotiated and commensurate with experience. This is intended to be an entry-level position for someone with a deep interest in social activism, and excited about linking this to local musicians. We will consider applications from more experienced persons who are interested in this part-time position.

You will work on your own computer in your location, and communicate primarily through phone and video meetings.
