Role Overview
Responsible for marketing, showing, and leasing residential rental units while delivering a professional, tenant‑focused experience. Ensures high occupancy, accurate documentation, and smooth move‑in processes through strong communication, organization, and property knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead management — Respond to inquiries, schedule showings, follow up with prospects, and maintain accurate lead records.
- Property showings — Conduct in‑person and virtual tours, highlight key features, and address prospect questions.
- Application processing — Guide applicants through the screening process, collect required documents, and ensure compliance with fair housing standards.
- Lease execution — Prepare and review lease agreements, coordinate move‑in dates, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Marketing support — Update listings, take photos or coordinate photography, and ensure units are advertised across platforms.
- Unit readiness coordination — Work with maintenance to ensure units are clean, repaired, and ready for occupancy.
- Tenant relations — Provide clear communication, resolve basic concerns, and maintain a positive resident experience.
- Reporting and documentation — Maintain leasing metrics, occupancy data, and accurate records in the property management system.
- Compliance — Uphold fair housing laws, company policies, and leasing procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in leasing, property management, or customer‑facing roles
- Strong communication and sales skills
- Ability to multitask and manage leads efficiently
- Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, or similar)
- Professional, organized, and detail‑oriented
- Good experience of working on Microsoft Office tools.
