Duties

• Officiate wedding ceremonies in accordance with legal requirements and personal preferences of the couple
• Collaborate with clients to customize ceremony scripts that reflect their values and beliefs
• Provide guidance on wedding planning logistics and coordinate with other vendors as needed
• Offer spiritual or emotional support to couples during pre-wedding consultations and rehearsals
• Deliver engaging speeches or readings that resonate with the couple's vision
• Assist in crisis intervention or conflict management if unforeseen issues arise during ceremonies
• Maintain professionalism and uphold the integrity of the officiant role at all times
• Support bereavement or hospice care initiatives by offering compassionate presence when appropriate
• Mentor new officiants or volunteers interested in serving in similar capacities
