Customer Support Specialist

Job Summary

A Customer Support Specialist is responsible for assisting customers by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product or service information. They serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring a positive customer experience and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media
  • Resolve product or service issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Document customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution
  • Maintain knowledge of company products, services, and policies
  • Process orders, returns, exchanges, or account updates

 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1–3 years of customer service experience (industry-specific experience may be preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
