A high-acuity Chicago hospital has an urgent, immediate opening for an experienced Operating Room Circulating Nurse (RN) with orthopedic, spine, and robotic surgery experience. This role is being filled quickly due to increased surgical volume.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Circulate for complex ortho, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures
• Utilize planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care
• Perform pre-op assessments, time-outs, and safety checks
• Uphold patient safety and assist in preparing room for surgeries
• Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control standards
• Advocate for patients throughout the perioperative process
• Strong leadership skills and ability to make decisions affecting the operating suite
• Work side-by-side with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Active Illinois RN license
• 2+ years of Operating Room Circulating experience
• Recent experience in orthopedics, spine, or robotic surgery
• Ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced ORs
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS (required)
• ACLS (preferred)
• CNOR (a plus)
