Type: Part-Time (10 hours/week) Pay: $7.50/hr + Uncapped Performance Commission. Seeking students. Must apply using your school email address for verification. There is no need to visit an office, but you will need to visit local businesses, so transportation and local base is a must. 

The Mission:

Are you a native Spanish speaker passionate about early childhood education and bilingual literacy? Many children in our community lose their Spanish fluency by the first grade because they lack the right tools to learn to read in Spanish at home. We are on a mission to change that.

We are seeking a motivated, professional individual to drive growth for our Spanish Children’s Book series. This isn't just a sales job; it’s an opportunity to provide families with the resources they need to ensure their children grow up bilingual and biliterate. This is a cold-sales, field-based role focusing on B2B (Business-to-Business) outreach, community networking, and educational advocacy.

The Structure: Trial & Growth

We believe in a mutual fit. The first week is designed for us to see if you have the sales instinct we need, and for you to decide if this mission-driven career path is the right fit for you.

  • Week 1 (The Mutual Trial):
    • Paid Training: 30-minute session on our product and native Spanish script.
    • Strategy Phase: You will develop a Strategic Outreach Doc identifying target local events, schools, and businesses.
    • The Network Test: You will begin outreach within your own personal network to gauge interest and secure initial orders.
  • Week 2 and Beyond (Field Operations):
    • If the trial is successful for both parties, you will move into full field operations.
    • We provide physical sample books, materials, and a branded company T-shirt.
    • In your second week, you will begin visiting businesses in person (daycares, bakeries, pediatric offices) to establish partnerships and drive sales.

Performance & Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $7.50/hour.
  • Performance Target: We expect a minimum of 20 books sold per week. Success in hitting this target is required to continue the partnership.
  • Uncapped Commission: After the first 20 books sold in a 7-day period, you earn a $1.00 commission for every additional book sold. (Example: Sell 120 books in a week, you earn your base pay + $100 bonus). The count resets every 7 days.

Schedule & Logistics:

  • Flexible Hours: 10 hours per week. You choose your own hours.
  • Clock-In Policy: You must clock in/out virtually for a minimum of 2-hour blocks at a time.
  • Transportation: Must have your own reliable vehicle for visiting businesses.
  • Payment: All customer payments are made via a secure QR code scan (No cash handling required).

For team members who stay with the company long-term and demonstrate consistent success, we offer Career Coaching including:

  • Professional Resume writing and review.
  • LinkedIn profile optimization and strategy.
  • Professional growth consulting for future career moves

Qualifications:

  • Native-level Spanish fluency is mandatory.
  • Enrolled in university, college, or technical school.
  • A genuine interest in early childhood education or literacy.
  • Comfortable with in-person cold sales and visiting local businesses.
  • Highly organized and able to document a sales plan in a doc.
