Job description:

AKA Education is a local tutoring company serving students throughout the greater Grand Rapids area. We are seeking a part‑time Secondary Mathematics Tutor to support students in middle school through calculus, beginning March 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized tutoring in secondary mathematics (middle school–high school)
• Support students with coursework, test preparation, and skill development
• Maintain consistent weekly sessions through the end of May

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field required
• Experience teaching or tutoring secondary mathematics (middle school–high school)
• Strong communication skills and reliability

Position Details:

• 2–9 hours per week
• After‑school availability required
• Flexible scheduling
• Hourly compensation
• In‑person sessions primarily in the East Grand Rapids area
