WordPress / WooCommerce Website Intern (School Credit)

Location: Indianapolis (on-site or hybrid)
Term: Spring / Summer (flexible start and end dates)
Hours: 6–10 hours per week (flexible around school)
Compensation: Unpaid (for academic credit). We can support required documentation and verification for school credit/accreditation.

About the internship

We are a WAYNE TWSP BUSINESS seeking a High School senior or college student who needs accredited, real-world experience helping with updates and improvements to a live WordPress + WooCommerce e-commerce website.

Responsibilities

• Update WordPress pages, menus, banners, and seasonal content
• Add/edit WooCommerce products (titles, descriptions, pricing, categories, images, variations)
• Basic image prep (cropping/resizing, optimizing file sizes, adding alt text)
• Assist with plugin updates and routine site checks (links, mobile layout, checkout flow)
• Support simple SEO tasks (headings, meta descriptions, product keyword updates)
• Track work and document changes in a shared task list (Google Docs/Trello)

Qualifications

• Current High School senior or college student (any major welcome)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working online and communicating clearly
• WordPress familiarity is a plus, but not required

Requirement/

• WooCommerce experience
• Word Press 
• Canva or basic photo editing (Canva Professional Provided)
