Caring Hands Home Nursing Care, INC is urgently hiring a compassionate and experienced female caregiver to support a client in Deerfield, IL, who has the onset of dementia. The client enjoys painting and arts & crafts, and the position involves providing care and companionship in a calm home setting. We’re looking for someone dependable and patient who can start before or by the middle end of February.

Requirements:

• Must live in or near Deerfield, IL (within 40 minutes or less)
• Must have previous experience caring for dementia patients or caregiving patients in general.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle to transport the client to daycare during weekdays
• Must be female (per client preference)
• Must be patient, compassionate, and reliable

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep)
• Engage client in activities such as painting or art projects
• Transport client to daycare during weekdays
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Pay & Schedule:

• $20/hour
• Paid every 2 weeks
• Flexible schedule, to be discussed during the interview
