We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Boat Detailer to join our team. This role involves cleaning, restoring, and maintaining boats to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction; also maintaining the boat yard and transporting boats around the lot via tractor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, attention to detail, and experience in vehicle or custodial detailing. Prior experience in janitorial work, car wash services, boat cleaning services, and tractor operation is needed. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of boats, including washing, buffing, and polishing surfaces Apply cleaning products and techniques to remove dirt, grime, and stains effectively Conduct interior cleaning such as vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing cabins Use buffing machines to restore shine on boat exteriors Transport boats around the boat yard via tractor Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished product Operate company tractors responsibly for transportation of boats when required Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial work preferred Ability to operate buffing machines and perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently Knowledge of cleaning supplies, techniques, and safety procedures Basic tractor driving skills is preferred Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results on every boat Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous but not mandatory This position offers an engaging work environment where craftsmanship meets customer satisfaction.
