Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality imaging results. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in various imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and effectively while adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly for optimal diagnostic evaluation.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports.
  • Educate patients on procedures, ensuring they understand the process and any necessary preparations.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with medical regulations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.

Experience

  • A degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field is required.
  • Certification from a recognized body (e.g., ARRT or NMTCB) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations.
  • Experience with aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
