SOLANA BEACH, CA  – A warm family, who is currently in Carlsbad but moving to Solana Beach in a few months, is seeking an experienced, engaging PART-TIME NANNY for a long-term position caring for their two daughters 4 years, and almost 2 years old. Their four year old will be in school full time come September 2026.

This role is ideal for a seasoned caregiver who enjoys working with preschool and school- aged children and understands the importance of balancing structure, creativity, and independence. The position is Monday–Thursday from 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM with heavy childcare and household assistant duties. Occasional evening availability for date nights would be a plus! Family has a real estate business so they are in and out, but mom tries to be very hands on when possible, so lots tag-teaming… she is truly in search of a work wife! Pay is $35/hr gross via payroll with lots of room for growth.

This is a live-out, long-term role, well suited for a professional, confident caregiver who can support a child through play, routines, and age-appropriate learning. The children are happy, social, and playful, with a predictable daily rhythm and a love for outdoor time and imaginative play.  Responsibilities include providing attentive and engaging care, planning developmentally appropriate activities, supporting early learning and social-emotional growth, preparing simple meals and snacks for the children, children-related laundry, light household tidying, and occasional family cooking or errands. The family has bi-weekly housekeepers and does not expect heavy cleaning. 

The ideal candidate is experienced, warm, and proactive; someone who is polished, dependable, and comfortable guiding first-time parents while respecting household routines. A caregiver who can anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and bring calm confidence to the day will thrive in this role. The home is located in a pleasant neighborhood with street parking and direct access to a park, making it ideal for walks and outdoor play.
