Company Overview:
Noble Gold Events is a wedding and event planning company specializing in weddings and highly personalized private events in and beyond the tri-state area. Our team works closely with clients to design, plan, and execute thoughtfully curated events, handling everything from vendor coordination and logistics to event styling and on-site management.
What you’d do:
- Support vendor relations; including researching, building, and maintaining vendor partnerships
- Assist in creating and managing client budgets
- Conduct vendor research, including but not limited to venue, catering, florist, DJ, band, wedding stationer, etc.
- Create presentation decks for vendor categories and client proposals
- Attend venue site visits and walkthroughs as needed
- Support social media management by creating and scheduling content
- Participate in client consultations via phone and in person
- Assist on-site at events as needed, including event setup and coordination
- Assist with business development initiatives and administrative support
- Support additional event-related projects as assigned
Who you are:
A junior or senior in college, or an individual excited to gain hands-on experience from a small business owner in the wedding and events industry. You’re creative, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and the confidence to jump in and wear multiple hats on any given day.
Qualifications and/or requirements:
- At least two years completed in college (preferred)
- Must be able to earn college credit
- Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Google doc, Canva, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Major/minor in Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing/Advertising, Public Relations or similar major
- Must be able to work at least 10 hours a week, for a minimum of 3 months
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable being client facing and service oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize client requests
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Can lift inventory/objects, up to 50lbs
- Is able to stand for long periods of time (10+ hours)
