Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Resident Assistant at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) located in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, and California. Applicants may choose up to 4 locations they may be interested in working. The Resident Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to student supervision, mentorship, and support during program activities and residence hall living. Summer camp contracts are based on 2 3-week sessions that begin in late June through early August. Some dates may vary based on site.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in student supervision and mentorship
• Ability to support and engage with diverse, young students
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Knowledge or experience in education or youth development is a plus
• Must have a High School Diploma
