Welman Academy | Summer Camp (Grades K–5)

Welman Academy is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Camp Counselors to serve in a teacher role during our K–5 Summer Camp program. Counselors will create a safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment while leading students through a variety of enrichment-based activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage students in daily camp activities, including weekly water days, physical education, art, drama, and indoor field trips

Plan and facilitate age-appropriate academic enrichment and hands-on learning experiences

Maintain a structured, positive, and nurturing classroom environment

Ensure student safety and follow all camp and school policies

Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Qualifications:

Experience working with elementary-aged children (K–5)

Background in teaching, education, or youth programs preferred

Energetic, responsible, and able to lead group activities

Passion for student engagement, creativity, and learning
