Purpose

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the St. Andrew Communications and Marketing Team who collaborates and develops communications and marketing solutions for multiple ministries. This position will assist in planning and executing St. Andrew’s communications, marketing, and brand experience, along with identified team responsibilities. This role offers opportunities for learning and growth and may be updated based on the needs of the organization, the candidate’s areas of expertise and interest, and overall fit with the St. Andrew vision and culture. This is an in-person role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point person interfacing with the Admin Team on all ministry events submitted through the event form process. Ensure accuracy of all information (date, time, place, content) to provide proactive planning details for the Communications and Marketing Team to build workflow through multiple marketing channels.
  • Coordinate email marketing calendar for ministries; work with directors to develop drafts in EMMA, circulate for review, secure approval from Director of Communications and Marketing, and schedule to send.
  • Develop and upload promotional slides and schedule playlist for the church’s REACH digital slide system
  • Upload promotional information to the new digital exterior roadside sign
  • Partner in the weekly worship bulletin production using Adobe InDesign
  • Partner in the development of print and digital materials for ministries using Canva
  • Update St. Andrew website (Subsplash platform) as needed
  • Work with Director of Communications and Marketing in the execution of social media strategy; experience working in Meta Business Suite is a plus.
  • Work with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of deliverables. Develop timelines and order marketing collateral. Examples: banners, yard signs, specialty items, envelopes.
  • Other ongoing opportunities to be determined.

Preferred Experience

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or Journalism
  • Previous related experience, corporate or non-profit (2–3 years)
  • Project management experience, including working with online project management tools
  • Email marketing software experience (ex. Constant Contact, Mail Chimp)
  • Photography and photo editing experience a plus
  • Church communications experience a plus

Salary Range $24-$26/hour
