Overview:  A Kolter Hospitality Host delivers service excellence to our guests in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. This position is responsible for welcoming guest to the restaurant from the time they walk through the door until the time they depart.

Performance Expectations: 

1. Greet and provide exceptional service to guests.
2. Take guest reservation or put on waiting list, reflecting availability of the restaurant.
3. Take guests to their seats and notify server.
4. Answer phones in a courteous and timely manner.
5. Possess knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
6. Buss all tables removing soiled dishes after each course when requested by server.
7. Assist food and beverage team members as situations arise.
8. Respond appropriately to guest requests.
9. Perform opening and closing procedures along with side work as assigned.
10. Follow proper procedures regarding cash handling, following cash bank reconciliation and end of shift drop.
11. Report any items in need of repair.
12. Follow all safety procedures while working.

General Requirements:

Able to work most weekends and holidays.

Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

Knowledge and/or ability to operate a computer.

Experience: None. Customer Service or Hospitality experience a plus. 

Education: None

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.

Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling
