We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-k Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to child welfare and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that align with developmental milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized care and attention to each child, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Foster a love for learning through creative activities, including arts and crafts, music, and movement.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development at home and in the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development through standardized testing when appropriate.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong skills in classroom management, child welfare, lesson planning, and behavior management are essential.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with toddler care and special education will be considered an asset.
