Hours: Full-time, Flexible - regular employee

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide high-quality grooming services. This role involves working closely with pets and their owners, ensuring that every pet leaves looking and feeling their best. The Pet Groomer will be responsible for grooming various breeds of dogs and other animals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, and styling according to breed standards or client requests.
• Handle pets safely and effectively during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Provide basic health checks on pets during grooming appointments, noting any abnormalities or concerns for the owners.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, including tools and equipment, to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate with pet owners about grooming services provided and recommend additional services or products as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming is essential; 1 year of groom tech experience
• Strong skills in dog handling, animal care, and animal restraint techniques.
• Ability to handle heavy animals safely and comfortably as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners.

• Experience as a pet groomer with a knack for mobile grooming (van experience a plus!)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• A love for driving, a clean driving record, and a knack for navigating routes
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to rock your grooming schedule
• Excellent customer service experience is a plus
