YMCA Camp Bernie is located in Port Murray, NJ. We host groups for Outdoor Education which include nature based classes (stream ecology, forest ecology, nature appreciation, wilderness survival) adventure programming (team building, high ropes elements, archery, canoeing, raft building), as well as creative based activities (sensory awareness, candle making, arts and crafts, tie-dye.) Each day is different and allows you to facilitate a closeness between our guests and the nature we are surrounded by. Instructors are trained to facilitate all of our daytime and evening activity options.

All staff will have the opportunity to:

- Live on site, shared staff housing

- Meals provided when groups are present

- CPR and First Aid Certification (Adult and Pediatric)

- USA Archery Certification Level 1

- Documentation of hours toward ACCT certifications, as requested

- Paid on site training

- Attendance to an Outdoor Education conference

YMCA Camp Bernie is located 2 hours from Philadelphia, 1.5 hours from NYC and only 15 minutes from the closest town.
