Family owned Garden Center in Kennett Square, PA, seeks seasonal, part-time associate with knowledge of plants and day to day garden center operations. Job runs every year from mid-March to mid-December. Employee will be responsible for taking care of plants, watering, helping customers and ringing up sales. Position is part time, 16-20 hrs./week. Working weekends is a must. Salary commensurate with experience, ranges $17-21/hr. Some lifting of bagged goods up to 40 lbs. is required. A general knowledge of plants is REQUIRED.
