Inday is a fast-casual Indian-inspired restaurant bringing bold, vibrant flavors to New York City. Our catering program delivers memorable meals for corporate events, meetings, and celebrations across Manhattan.

The Role

We're looking for a motivated, personable intern to help grow our corporate catering business through proactive outreach and lead generation. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in sales, marketing, or hospitality who wants hands-on experience building client relationships from the ground up.

What You'll DoLinkedIn Prospecting & Outreach
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify potential catering decision-makers (administrative assistants, executive assistants, office managers, operations coordinators, and similar roles) at NYC companies
  • Send personalized connection requests and messages introducing Inday's catering offerings
  • Nurture conversations and invite qualified prospects to schedule a complimentary tasting for up to 15 people
  • Collect contact information from interested leads and maintain organized tracking
Lead Generation
  • Research and identify potential corporate clients through various channels (Google searches, company directories, business databases, networking events, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective accounts
  • Get creative with finding new ways to reach office decision-makers
Customer Retention Calls
  • Call existing customers who've ordered through ezCater to check in on their experience
  • Gather feedback and build rapport
  • Offer incentives for ordering directly through Inday going forward
You Might Be a Great Fit If You
  • Are comfortable reaching out to strangers and starting conversations
  • Write clearly and come across as warm and genuine (not salesy or robotic)
  • Are organized and can keep track of multiple conversations and follow-ups
  • Take initiative and don't need constant direction
  • Are curious about food, hospitality, or the restaurant industry
  • Have experience with LinkedIn, CRM tools, or sales outreach (a plus, not required)
