Weekend Gallery Assistant- 

Tacoma Glassblowing Studio is looking for an organized, detailed-oriented individual who enjoys working with the public. 

Responsibilities Include:
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, students and glassblowers.
• Using POS IPad for transactions and creating change.
• Represent Tacoma Glassblowing Studio with kindness and respect for others.
• Educate guests about the basics of glassblowing and all TGS has to offer.
• Coordinating classes/experiences including registering students and preparing the gallery.
• Help Experience guests pick their shapes/colors and introduce them to glassblowers.  
• Respond to inquiries for classes, rentals and group events.
• Be responsible for the gallery: cleaning, providing info on the artists and processing sales.
• Providing office administrative support by answering incoming calls, returning calls, maintaining office supplies, filing, emails and assisting the owners on various other projects.
• Some tagging, packing and shipping.

Qualifications:
• Excellent customer service skills with at least 4 yrs experience of retail or customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with a preferred 2 yrs. of administrative experience.
• Strong time management skill is a MUST. 

Availability:
• We are looking for someone to work Friday’s 930am-530pm, Saturday's & Sunday's 8am-530pm.

Pay based on experience starting at $21
