Maize Cocina & Cocktails in Westfield NJ is seeking a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help bring our bold flavors, electric nights and vibrant community to life online. 

If you live for reels, love storytelling through video and get excited about building real connections with a local audience- this is the role for you. 

Key role responsibilities:

• capture on-site photo & video content during service, events and special activations. 
• create, edit and publish engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and future platforms
• Manage daily posting, stories, comments, and DM's across all channels
• Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with Maize promotions, events and brand voice, under the supervision of our marketing team. 
• Track performance metrics and deliver growth & engagement reports with insight & strategy. 
• stay on top of social trends, sounds and platform updates to keep fresh and relevant- especially in the fine dining, culinary and hopsitality space. 
• collaborate with Maize ownership and marketing leadership to tell the evolving Maize story

What we're looking for:

• Strong skills in short-form video creation & editing. (Reels, TikTok, Stories)
• Comfortable shooting content on Iphone or camera in fast paced restaurant environment. 
• Excellent understanding of Instagram & TikTok algorithms, trends and engagement strategy
• Organized, proactive, and able to work indepedently
• Local to Union/Westfield/surrounding NJ area and available for on-site shoots
• Passion for food, nightlife, culture adn community story telling
