As a Technician Assistant you’ll be responsible for providing services on various types of UPS Systems and related critical power equipment and provide the following:

• Responsible for assisting in any manual labor assistance to technician as needed.
• Assist with staging equipment for equipment start-up including not limited to confirming to compliance safety, verifying inventory, following safety standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned in order to meet the productivity and performance goals of the operation
• Maintain communication with management on daily tasks and projects
• Assist with special projects as needed

Skills

• Basic knowledge of Electrical systems preferred not required
• Preferred certifications of OSHA10, NFPA 70E, LOTO
• High School Diploma
• Valid Real ID/Passport
• Strong leadership with professional work ethics
• Ability to communicate diagnostic findings
• Ability to follow technical drawings, building plans and wiring diagrams
• Ability to lift and install 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder frequently
• Able to Operate Automated and Manual Tools
• Accept and perform given tasks with ownership and sense of urgency
• Willing and able to travel to job sites daily
• Abide by safety rules and regulations, professional demeanor on the job site and during travel
