Job Summary: A "Human Resources Specialist Supervisor (Intern)" is an entry-level, temporary role designed for individuals to gain practical experience in HR while providing administrative and specialized support to the HR department under the guidance of a senior HR manager or specialist. This position typically involves tasks like managing employee records, assisting with recruitment processes (such as screening resumes and scheduling interviews), supporting onboarding, coordinating HR events, and handling HR-related inquiries, contributing to the overall efficiency of the HR department. 

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating new hire orientations, and managing the onboarding process. 

Employee Records Management:

  • Update and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in HR databases and files. 

HR Administration:

  • Provide general administrative support, which may include preparing HR documents, managing HR data, and responding to employee inquiries about HR policies. 

Employee Relations & Development:

  • Support initiatives related to employee engagement and professional development, such as planning HR events and tracking training participation. 

Data & Reporting:

  • Help in gathering market salary information and preparing reports, presentations, and other HR-relevant documents. 

Key Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. 

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential for managing HR data and documents. 

Organizational Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary to manage multiple tasks and ensure accuracy. 

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for interacting with employees and candidates. 

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively with a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
