Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate person to join our small but growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuing the care/ rehabilitation of horses recovering from injuries or requiring physical conditioning within our program. The role is currently part time however offers room for hours growth as the business scales. Owl's Hollow Farm is focused on providing highly skilled equine recovery care for all aspects of return to work needs.

The Site:

9 stalls; 72' Eurociser; rehab sized paddocks for safe turnouts, outdoor arena.

34 acres and retirement pastures planned for 2026 spring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver rehabilitation plans designed by vets and team

- Ensure proper medical protocols, feeding & care

- Monitor, assess and track the progress & condition of each horse

- Administer planned exercises, therapies, and treatments under supervision.

- Maintain a clean & safe environment for all horses which includes stall

cleaning and site maintenance (given our small size currently)

Qualifications:

- Experience working with horses, particularly in a rehabilitation or veterinary setting.

- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

- Basic understanding of equine anatomy and physiology.

- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with a team.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Certification in equine rehabilitation or related field preferred, but not required.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position that primarily includes weekends with the ability for some week day hours as needed. This will grow as the business scales.

Compensation: between $20 and $26 based on qualifications and availability
