Western Washington Medical Group’s Imaging Center is seeking a full time or part time X-Ray Technologist to join our team. We are conveniently located just off I-5 at 3822 Colby Ave, Everett, WA 98201.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a out-patient Imaging center, performing exams in accordance with physicians’ orders, adhering to safety standards and providing excellent patient-focused care. You will prepare the X-Ray room and diagnostic equipment to perform high-quality testing, work collaboratively with the team, and follow established protocols as well as complete associated documentation. The technologist will be expected to uphold medical ethics and maintain staff and patient confidentiality.

Essential Functions:

Diagnostic Testing:

  • Demonstrate ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images utilizing knowledge of technical factors, technique  selection, positioning techniques, anatomy, physiology, and associated clinical pathology.
  • Understand and follow exam protocols as established by the radiologists.
  • Exhibit proper equipment setup and patient preparation for X-Ray exams.
  • Provided PACS image management and associated administrative tasks as needed

Patient Care:

  • Demonstrate high-quality patient care.
  • Observe universal precautions.
  • Use sterile technique.
  • Uphold medical ethics and maintain staff and patient confidentiality.

Customer Service:

  • Provide superior service that meets/exceeds expectations.
  • Ability to have proper interactions with medical staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Teamwork:

  • Demonstrate a genuine effort to work cooperatively with others as part of a group to best serve our patients and providers.
  • Contribute as a productive member of the clinical team.
  • Demonstrate an ability to receive constructive feedback.

Initiative:

  • Self-motivated to suggest workflow improvements, exceed expectations, and perform tasks without being requested.
  • Utilize good time management skills.
  • Assist in maintaining a neat department and work area.
  • Keep knowledge and technical skills current by seeking out opportunities for self-learning and ongoing professional development.

  • Demonstrate an ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups.
  • Be receptive to new ideas.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes in workload and able to effectively increase productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications/ Education Background:

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging training program
  • ARRT Certification required
  • Valid CPR card - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • You must be able to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States

Schedule: Full time or part time, Monday – Friday days. No evenings, weekends, or on-call. Flexible schedule.

Salary Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill set, and education.
