IMMORTAL CINEMA INTERNATIONAL, LLC (ICI) is a Los Angeles production company based in Sherman Oaks / Van Nuys / Burbank, CA, founded by Award-Winning Filmmaker, Noah Berlow, recipient of the Ithaca College Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
ICI is seeking to fill the following REMOTE Post Production Student Intern positions from NOW through the Summer and Fall 2026 Semesters.
ONLY college students receiving academic credit will be considered.
ICI Internships
· Assistant Editor Intern
Full-time or part-time post-production internship focused on feature films, feature documentaries, music videos, commercials, TV pilots, social impact films, and branded content. Interns may assist with organizing footage, syncing audio, creating string-outs, preparing selects, managing media, building project files, supporting multicam workflows, and learning professional editing systems used in real-world film and television post-production.
· Sound Design Intern
For interns interested in pursuing a career in production and post-production sound, including location sound recording, dialogue cleanup, sound effects, Foley, sound editing, music placement, and basic sound mixing. Interns may support short films, documentaries, trailers, promotional videos, and music-driven projects while learning how sound shapes emotion, story, pacing, and production value.
· After Effects / Motion Graphics Intern
For interns looking to experiment creatively with After Effects templates, motion graphics, title design, lower thirds, visual effects, animated text, social media graphics, and trailer-style design elements. This track is ideal for interns interested in combining editing, design, animation, and visual storytelling across film, documentary, commercial, and music-based projects.
· Script Coverage / Screenwriting / Screenplay Development Intern
For interns interested in screenwriting, script analysis, story development, and the creative process behind film and television projects. Interns may assist with reading scripts, writing coverage, developing loglines, creating character breakdowns, giving notes on structure and dialogue, researching comparable films, proofreading drafts, and supporting the development of feature films, short films, TV pilots, documentary treatments, and pitch materials. This track is ideal for interns who want to better understand story, theme, character arcs, scene construction, emotional stakes, and how ideas move from concept to production.
· Documentary Intern
Internship focus will be primarily on editing and developing documentary projects as well as other works of non-fiction, including social impact films, short documentaries, fundraising films, artist profiles, music documentaries, and branded documentary content. Part of ICI’s company mission is to produce documentary projects that have a positive social impact and help promote awareness, empathy, community action, and meaningful change. Interns may assist with research, archival organization, interview selects, transcription review, story development, editing support, and assembling documentary sequences.
This is primaritly a REMOTE STUDENT FILM INTERNSHIP
The Ideal Intern:
· MUST be earning college credit and permitted by your school to work remotely.
· Is organized, thorough, accountable, dedicated, and professional
· Can work flexible hours from home including late nights and weekends
· Has a positive professional attitude and a passion for storytelling
· Respects Strict Confidentiality with a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which is required on all projects.
The Ideal Post-Production Intern:
· Has experience with and owns a registered copy of the latest Adobe Premiere CC
· Owns a MacBook Pro Laptop (or reasonably new Macbook Air) high-powered PC, iMac, or Mac Pro Tower with editing software installed on it
· Owns an external hard drive with available hard drive space for projects (2-4TB)
· Can look through hours of raw footage and determine what shots/scenes are good selections to include in a cut
· Has experience with (or an interest in learning) Color Correction
· Has experience with (or an interest in learning) Sound Design / Sound Mixing
· Has experience with (or an interest in learning) VFX and other editing software including ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS
· Collaborates well with others currently attending your internship program (roommates who have worked together in the past are encouraged to apply together!)
· Knows Photoshop or Motion Graphics (HUGE PLUS but not required)
