Fall Intern - Film & Post Production

Internship Start Date/Season:
Fall 2026. Flexible August or September start based on the student’s academic calendar.
Internship Duration:
The Fall 2026 academic term, up to 3–4 months.
Time/Days Required:
Part-time, approximately 8–15 hours per week. Scheduling will be arranged around classes and school internship requirements.
Workplace Requirements:
Primarily remote. Local Los Angeles interns may be offered optional in-person production opportunities when available.
Immortal Cinema International, LLC is seeking college students for supervised internships in:
• Assistant Editing / Post Production
• Sound Design
• After Effects / Motion Graphics
• Script Coverage / Screenplay Development
• Documentary Editing and Development
• Cinematography / Camera and Lighting
Program Requirements:
This is an unpaid internship for academic credit. Applicants must be currently enrolled college students, eligible to receive academic credit, and approved by their school before beginning.
The internship is structured around school-approved learning objectives, mentorship, and supervised training. Interns will not replace employees or perform duties that would otherwise be assigned to paid staff. There is no guarantee or expectation of paid employment after the internship.
Internship Areas:
Assistant Editing / Post Production
Supervised instruction in footage organization, syncing, selects, string-outs, media management, project organization, and multicamera workflows.
Sound Design
Educational exposure to dialogue editing, sound effects, Foley, music placement, sound cleanup, and basic mixing.
After Effects / Motion Graphics
Experience with title design, lower thirds, animated text, templates, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
Script Coverage / Screenplay Development
Practice reading scripts, preparing coverage, developing loglines, analyzing characters and structure, researching comparable projects, and reviewing development materials.
Documentary Editing and Development
Exposure to documentary research, archival organization, interview selects, transcripts, story development, and supervised editing workflows.
Cinematography / Camera and Lighting
Instruction in visual references, shot planning, camera preparation, composition, lighting, equipment organization, color workflows, and on-set protocols. Local interns may be invited to optional productions when available.
Ideal Candidates:
• Currently enrolled and receiving academic credit
• Authorized by their school to participate remotely
• Organized, dependable, professional, and eager to learn
• Interested in film, television, documentary, music, or social-impact storytelling
• Able to maintain confidentiality and sign an NDA when appropriate
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, sound, cinematography, or color correction is helpful but not required for every area
