HOSTESS/HOST/ RECEPTION 

The ideal candidate will warmly welcome diners, manage reservations and waitlists, answer phones, and help create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the hospitality and charm of a traditional Greek 

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them upon departure
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
• Maintain an organized host stand and reception area
• Communicate wait times clearly and courteously
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth seating flow
• Assist with takeout orders or online reservations when needed
• Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards

Position: Server (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Telly’s Taverna is looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic servers to join our team! We’re a busy Greek restaurant known for great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Greet guests and provide attentive, friendly service

Take food and beverage orders accurately

Deliver meals and drinks promptly

Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas

Work closely with the kitchen and bar team

Handle payments and POS system

Create a positive dining experience for every guest

Prior serving experience preferred (but not required)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Team-oriented, punctual, and dependable

Availability for nights and weekends

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift trays

Ability to speak Greek preferred
