We are seeking a Part-Time Web Designer / Website Content Migrator for a short-term contract project focused on migrating existing websites to a new platform. This is a straightforward, well-structured assignment with templates, access to both systems, and onboarding support provided.

About the Project

We are transitioning multiple existing websites from our current platform to a new system.
A ready-to-use template will be provided in the new platform, and the contractor will have access to both the old and new systems to easily transfer:

Website text/content

Images and media

Basic web page structure and details

Each site typically takes up to 3 days to complete. Additional time is allotted initially to become familiar with the platform and ask questions.

This role does not require senior-level experience—a solid foundational understanding of website design and templates is all that’s needed.

Key Responsibilities

Migrate existing website content from the current platform to a new system

Copy and format text, images, and page elements accurately

Follow provided templates and structure

Ensure consistency and attention to detail across pages

Provide brief progress updates twice per week (Mondays & Fridays)

Communicate any questions or blockers proactively

Qualifications

General understanding of website design and page templates

Comfortable working within structured systems and templates

Basic experience with website builders or CMS platforms

Strong attention to detail

Reliable, self-directed, and organized

Ability to manage your own schedule and workload

Senior-level experience is not required.

Compensation & Contract Details

Pay: $500 bi-weekly

Contract Length: Up to 3 months (project-based)

Hours: Flexible — determined by the contractor

Location: Remote

Payment Method: Contract (1099)
