Position: Unpaid Sales & Marketing Intern

We are seeking highly motivated, sales and marketing-oriented individuals to join our team for an unpaid internship. This role is designed to provide real-world experience in business development, affiliate sales, and professional networking under the direct mentorship of an executive leader.

• Executive Mentorship: Direct guidance and training from a professional with 20+ years of experience in executive leadership, sales, and training.

• Affiliate Sales Expertise: Hands-on experience building and managing an affiliate referral network, specifically utilizing the ROK Financial partnership.

• Strategic Marketing Skills: Developing and executing strategies to expand a small business's referral base and identify new sales opportunities.

• Networking & Recruitment: Practice in recruiting and onboarding new referral partners to build a cohesive sales team.

• Business Development: Understanding the sales cycle from prospecting to commission payout within a B2B and affiliate model.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will focus on expanding the company’s referral business through the ROK Financial partnership and general business development efforts:

1. Prospecting and Outreach: Identify potential clients or referral partners interested in business financing (via ROK Financial) or small business SEO content services.

2. Referral Network Expansion: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new individuals to join the affiliate sales team/referral network.

3. Marketing Material Development: Collaborate on creating pitch decks, email templates, and outreach scripts for referral network use.

4. Reporting and Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and referral activities.

5. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of actionable strategies for market penetration and affiliate program growth.

Compensation Structure

This is an unpaid internship designed for college credit or professional development.

However, the intern will be eligible to earn commission based on successful referrals:

• Commission Eligibility: Interns will earn a set commission percentage on all successful, closed referrals that they personally originate through the ROK Financial partnership or the core SEO content business.

• Earning Potential: This structure provides a unique incentive and the opportunity to earn income based on performance, directly mirroring a professional sales role. Specific commission rates will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills (essential for sales outreach).

• High level of self-motivation, organization, and a professional demeanor.

• An interest in sales, business development, and the financial/digital marketing sectors.
