Our Education Consultant meets with every family to develop a customized academic plan—so you’ll know exactly what each student needs to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one tutoring in mathematics for elementary, middle, and high school students.
• Teach and reinforce core math concepts, including:
• Arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Pre-Algebra and Algebra I & II
• Geometry and Trigonometry
• Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics (a plus but not required)
• Help students strengthen their problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills.
• Support students in homework, test preparation, and concept mastery.
• Incorporate real-world examples and engaging methods to make math more relatable and enjoyable.
• Assess students’ understanding and adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share progress and strategies for continued improvement.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and growth-oriented learning environment that builds confidence and motivation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience tutoring or teaching math, preferably with K–12 students.
• Strong proficiency in elementary through high school math topics.
• Ability to teach advanced math (Pre-Calculus, Calculus, or Statistics) is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with state curriculum standards and testing expectations (e.g., MCAS, SAT, ACT).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a student-centered teaching approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Teaching certification or relevant tutoring experience is a plus.
