Overview:
Family Worship Center Preschool & Daycare is seeking a caring, organized, and faith-driven Lead Teacher to guide and nurture a classroom of young learners. The ideal candidate will not only provide a structured, developmentally appropriate learning environment but will also feel confident leading Bible-based lessons and incorporating Christian values into the daily routine. This position is perfect for someone who loves children, values teamwork, and is passionate about early childhood education rooted in faith.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports early learning and Christian character development.
• Lead Bible stories, prayer time, worship songs, and discussions about God’s love in a way that young children can understand and enjoy.
• Foster a warm, inclusive, and spiritually uplifting classroom culture.
• Support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth.
• Collaborate with assistant teachers, parents, and leadership to maintain consistency and care across the classroom.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing updates on progress, behavior, and classroom events.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and health regulations.
• Support and model the mission and values of Family Worship Center in daily interactions and classroom management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience in early childhood education or a related field.
• A passion for nurturing children in both academic and spiritual development.
• Strong classroom leadership and organizational skills.
• Comfort with leading Christian teachings and incorporating biblical principles into daily lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• High school diploma required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and aligned with the faith and mission of Family Worship Center.
