Locations: Needham, Newton, Watertown, Waltham, Quincy, Somerville, Brookline, Dedham, Milton, Randolph, Greater Boston
Schedule: Weekdays 3–8 PM; Saturdays 12–6 PM
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate; paid training

Mr. L’s Tutoring and Enrichment LLC is hiring college students to provide academic tutoring and behavioral skill support for K–8 students. Associate Tutors work 1:1 with students in their homes or at local libraries, supporting academic growth, communication skills, self-management, and executive functioning.

This is a great opportunity for students majoring in psychology, education, child development, social work, human services, or similar fields.

Tutor students in math, writing, reading comprehension, and study skills

Support students following individualized learning and behavior plans

Help students build communication, coping, and organizational skills

Work in-home and at local library locations

Submit session notes and participate in supervision

Mandatory 1-hour training every other Saturday (paid)

40-hour RBT training provided at no cost

Ongoing supervision and professional development

Experience working with children (tutoring, mentoring, camp counseling, etc.)

Strong communication and reliability

GED 

Ability to travel to student homes and libraries

Must pass CORI/SORI background checks

Coursework in psychology, education, child development, or related fields

Experience with tutoring or supporting neurodivergent youth

Reliable, patient, enthusiastic about helping kids succeed, and interested in gaining hands-on experience that supports graduate school or future career goals.
