Desert Drive Co is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Day-to-Day Camera Operator to support our content and artist development teams. This internship is ideal for students or emerging creatives interested in building hands-on experience in the music and entertainment industry. Interns will gain exposure to live events, studio environments, content production, and direct work with recording artists.

Role Summary

The Day-to-Day Camera Operator will assist in capturing high-quality video content across a variety of settings, including studio sessions, concerts, media runs, production days, and everyday behind-the-scenes activity. This role requires professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to move at the fast pace of the music industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Film daily content across studio, lifestyle, performance, and travel environments

• Capture interviews, performance visuals, and social-first video content

• Edit short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

• Organize media libraries and maintain an efficient storage workflow

• Collaborate with the creative team on shot lists, concepts, and content planning

• Travel to shows, events, and content days when needed

• Maintain discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

• Experience operating a camera or strong proficiency with iPhone 15/16 Pro Max + gimbal

• Ability to shoot in nighttime/low-light environments

• Strong editing skills in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro

• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including some nights and weekends

• Ability to take direction, work independently, and adapt to changing schedules

• Understanding of rap culture, youth culture, and digital content trends is a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills
