We are a locally owned and growing CPA practice serving individuals, small businesses, farms, and rural professionals throughout Central Texas. Our firm blends modern technology—including Drake Software, Drake Portals, and secure digital workflows—with the personalized, relationship-driven service our clients appreciate. We’re expanding our team and seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Tax Preparer to support our busy and growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare basic individual tax returns under supervision
• Assist with client intake and document organization
• Review financial records, receipts, and documentation for accuracy
• Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, and secure message
• Protect the confidentiality and security of all client information
• Work collaboratively with our small, supportive team to keep the tax workflow organized and on schedule
• Prepare basic financial statements to support tax preparation

Qualifications:

• Prior tax preparation experience preferred 
• Ability to manage multiple client files with accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and documentation habits
• CPA or bookkeeping experience is valued but not required
• Must maintain strict confidentiality
