Role and Responsibilities
· Able to create and troubleshoot CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS
· Able to operate manual and automated CMMs
· Able to operate Laser Tracker utilizing Verisurf software
· Strong Understanding of GD&T and Blueprint reading
· Able to fill out inspection reports (AS9102 & Net-Inspect)
· Perform FAI to validate new or revised parts
· Able to use inspection equipment (Ex, caliper, height gauge, micrometer) with ease
· Perform receiving inspection on finished & in-process parts, hardware, and raw material
· Able to create nonconformance reports within the ERP system
· Work and engage directly with the Quality Manager on quality issues
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· One year certificate from college or technical school, or seven (7) or more years’ related experience, and/or
training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills
· Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability
to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with others.
· Mathematical Skills/Reasoning Ability: Trigonometry experience and skills.
· Software Skills: Knowledge of CATIA, PC-DMIS, Verisurf, and MS-Office.
· Communication: Good, strong communicator with colleagues and suppliers.
· Strong Critical Thinking Skills: Able to analyze data/information to elaborate and conclude.
· Attention to Detail: Critical for identifying defects and ensuring precision in inspections and documentation
Monday through Friday from 6 am to 4:30 pm
